Try It Out Penguin Joke(broadcast)

I never knew how easy it was to change a background!! I wish I had know before so I could've done it!!

Try It Out(make a block) reflection

I liked this task because it let me be creative with what I wanted to do. I could create whatever I wanted which is what I loved.

Final Post Reflection

I began this layout by choosing a fish and a shark. Then I chose an octopus to be the fish's ultimate goal. When I first tried to change the background so you could move onto level two, it was very hard for me. I didn't know how to do it or what blocks I should be using. I basically had to look at every single block on scratch to see which ones would make the most sense to use. It was very frustrating at first but when I found the blocks I needed, it worked perfectly. I played the game myself a few times to test it so that I was positive that it worked. Most of it worked as I intended for it to. On the second level, however, I couldn't get my second shark to show up and that is what I am disappointed about. I tried almost every block combination to change it as you could but it wouldn't work for any of them! However, I am most proud of my background switch because it took me so long to figure out how to do it but it looks so good now and I am glad that I added it into my game.

Final Project

The goal of my game is to reach the octopus without coming into contact with the shark. My sprites will included a fish, a shark, and an octopus. My background will be the ocean. Every time you get to the octopus, you will receive one point. The levels will increase in difficulty by having more sharks added. There will be 2 levels. When you win, the sprite will start gliding from side to side.

Alphabet Reflection for two Others

Julia's - I liked how Julia imported pictures from other websites for her letters. It was very creative.

Nikki's - I liked how Nikki used different sprites than me. It was nice to see what she chose for the letters.

Alphabet Reflection

I loved this activity because it made me use different types of sprites that I haven't used before. It made me think outside the box.

Alphabet

Fish Chomp Reflection

I thought this was cool because it was almost like playing a video game and you get to see your score increase overtime you eat a fish. I thought it was fun to play around with.

Fish Chomp Scratch

Nutrition Game and Reflection

This was fun to do because I learned a lot about scratch and the different blocks I can use to make things.
